Could you tell your client she needs to get a partial highlight touch up every 8 weeks… sure. But at some point they are going to get tired of spending so much so often. Instead offer a face frame, melt, gloss, & treatment. Their hair will look brand new and they will appreciate you offering a less expensive but effective service!

Let’s talk color corrections!
What is your plan of action when you have a new client in your chair who’s color needs to be corrected?
I try to take the part of least resistance. Don’t over think it. If the entire head doesn’t need to be fixed then don’t! Just take it section by section and correct each area as needed IF it is minimal areas that need correction!
For this correction I ended up mixing a lowlight to be similar in color as the natural. The pieces that were blotchy and streaky I mixed between lowlights and teasylight.
