Comfort Kits for Children show them how blowing bubbles helps them feel better!
There's a YouTube Channel for Comfort Kits for Children! https://www.youtube.com/@comfortkitsforchildren These videos show playful ways to use Comfort Kits for Children. Each tote has toys and guidance for mind-body practices. These practices help children regulate their feelings, decrease anxiety, improve sleep, and manage pain - particularly after being exposed to traumatic events. Caregivers, parents, and other adults can coach children to use the 6 "Skills for Feeling Better." The toys and items in the kits facilitate these practices. Reach out to us to learn more about getting Comfort Kits and remote training on how to use them. We have instructions on our website in 6 languages, as Comfort Kits for Children have been going to Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, and US communities. Our Comfort Kits have been developed by psychologists and pediatricians to support children and families in need of psychological first aid.
