I needed a haircut yesterday and heard about a new barbershop in Oakland Park, Cal's. Typically I go to one of the more popular barbershops in the gay community- great place, friendly barbers, and only $10 for a haircut. I was in a bit of a time crunch and didn't want to wait so I called Cal's. Cal answered the phone and said he would get my name on the board. He had several people ahead of me and suggested the time to arrive. I went ahead with my errands, went to the shop at the designated time and had no wait. But, this place would be worth the wait as the experience exceeded all expectations. Cal is friendly and appreciates each customer. His business has been carefully designed for visual appeal, efficiency, and cleanliness. He has several outstanding barbers and has built in room for growth as this place is going to be the new spot for a great haircut in a friendly, spotless environment. And, haircuts are only $10!!!!!!
