Have you tried our Sunflower Buckwheat Loaf? It's so yummy for breakfast! Lightly toasted with two scrambled eggs, side of greens, and some beet kraut. TIP! = if you buy our loaves, try cutting the loaf in half and then slice it perpendicular from that initial cut for larger pieces!

Grain-free scones! These beauts -- an Orange Currant scone and a Chocolate Cinnamon scone -- along with lemon poppyseed bread, blueberry muffins, and granola were dropped off for breakfast at yesterday morning! 🍋🍊☕

Mmmm. Enjoying a Spiced Pumpkin Loaf with an iced coffee as I take a break from packaging and labeling the order for Eating with the Seasons, CSA. ☕ 🎃 Mmmm, grain-free and so moist! Delicious.

Did you know THB uses only unrefined sugars in its baked goods? Sucanat (SUgar CAne NATural) is our top pick, along with maple syrup.

So what is sucanat? It is simply dehydrated sugar cane juice. Sucanat has a stronger molasses flavor than refined white sugar and retains all of the nutrients found in natural sugar cane juice, including iron, calcium, vitamin B6 and potassium. These extras, along with the additional water content, help reduce the sucrose — the main component in sugar that makes it sweet — in sucanat to about 88%, versus 99.9% for refined, white sugar.

So not only does sucanat not taste as sweet, THB uses less sugar in most of its treats than traditional recipes call for, to allow for a flavors of the other yummy ingredients to shine :)
