I got to train with the over 40 club, who show up and put in work and inspire me to work no matter what age; tested some pretty awesome kids, who, by their own words of “being a good person”code, make me believe the future is bright. Then got to finish up the night to work with some young guns for their upcoming fights where i get to be the “old guy” and bark commands. Also got to hang with my trainer who, after 25 years since i met him, is nicer. But still mean as f**k. But also nicer. And still weird. But he’s taught me a lot on coaching (and life in general) and I’m thankful to be getting advice for him all these years. Yup. Today was a good day.
