Today cadets from our Vanguard High School NJROTC Knights Battalion were able to attend the LIVE2LEAD leadership conference with leaders from across the Ocala business and Non-Profit leadership community!

Reminder! Tomorrow evening is our picture proof night, and it will be taking place in Master Chief Wise's portable, not Commander Davis' portable. We hope to see you there!

This weekend, our Knights Battalion was able to perform for our community and fellow veterans at Our Ocala Veterans Memorial Park. We performed the opening Colorguard, and demonstrations of all five of our teams. Very soon, we will be back out here for Veteran's Day, Go Knights! ⚓️

Last football Colorguard of the year!! We ended off with a sword arch to celebrate the Hoco Court of 2024, and a great demonstration of how far we have come. We can't wait for next years football season, Go Knights! ⚓️

What a journey our Knight's Battalion has been on over the past few years. The picture on the track is from 2022 and was the beginning of our journey. In that picture you see 20 cadets dressed out for competition. There was 7 seniors, 1 junior, 3 sophomores, and 9 FRESHMEN!!

It was our beginning and those 9 FRESHMEN made a commitment to build a competition JROTC drill team that would be respected across our county and state! This past weekend we watched this team do things that would have been almost impossible in the past;
- Pep Rally Performance with an almost full exhibition team
- Homecoming color guard and drill performance capping off a season of drill team performing at EVERY home football game!
- Performed at the Ocala/Marion County Veterans Appreciation Weekend demonstrating all of our competitive drill routines and teams for our hometown community!

As impressive as all of this has been, the real tale of the tape is in the numbers of our current day picture in front of the HELO; 2 seniors, 11 JUNIORS, 3 sophomores, and 3 Freshmen! We are so proud of these cadets and the legacy they are building for their battalion, and community! We are less then 3 weeks away from the actual beginning of our competitive season, and it is going to be our honor to serve together in this awesome journey!

Our Knights Battalion is out at the Ocala/Marion County Veterans Park!! We are performing from 1000-1230 plus the opening color guard at 0930!!

This years' Blue Angels Air Show at Jacksonville's Naval Air Station was a big hit with our cadets! We can't wait to see Blue Angels next year, Go Knights! (Credits to c/CMC Archer for the last pics!)

Just a reminder that this weekend our Knights Battalion will be performing this Saturday 10/26 at the Ocala-Marion County Veterans Memorial Park for Veterans Appreciation Weekend!

Our drill team will be helping out with the color guard with other local JROTC units and then our tentative drill team performance schedule is below;

1000- Armed Regulation commanded by c/LCDR Smith
1030- Unarmed Exhibition commanded by c/CPO Weems
1100- Competition Color Guard commanded by c/LT Nastav
1130- Unarmed Regulation commanded by c/LT Fnu
1215- Armed Exhibition Drill commanded by c/LT Council
