Exfoliating will buff out & get rid of any dead skin cells clogging your pores to create a pathway for hairs to grow properly and to prevent any ingrown hairs. Use an exfoliator 2-3 times a week & the day before your wax appointment, NEVER the day of your wax, this will make the area more sensitive & painful.

Why can histamine reactions occur?

⭐️The body perceives the hair removal as a threat and the immune system kicks in and responds by producing histamine to fight the threat as if it was an allergic reaction.

🌟 Welts will start to form and the skin will start to get red and itchy, the skin will be very inflamed.

⭐️ This reaction will happen almost immediately, typically on the Brazilian area but can be anywhere on the body.

🌟This will normally happen with your first ever wax or if it's been quite a while since you've had one.

🌟Apply hydrocortisone cream and the reaction will almost instantly start going down.

While working I will Tend to critique my work & see where I can improve.…To the normal eye this may seem like a Great Wax but I see ALOT of things I’ve could’ve done better…My Service Providers know how we are about our work..

Yes, you can complete a Wax in 15/20 minutes but you also can have even better results if we just slowed down!! I strive to be the BEST & I will be the BEST!

This is a touchy subject 🤭 it’s ALOT of misconceptions about who and what services can be performed… let me help y’all out.

🌟Licensed - Went to school to become either an Esthetician or Cosmetologist. Spent hours in the classroom learning everything about the trade as well as proper sanitation, They then spent hours on the clinic floor to get hands on experience then went on to take the board exams for their state to become licensed.

🌟Hours to become an Esthetician in FL: 260

🌟Hours to become a Cosmetologist in FL: 1,200

🌟Certified - Someone who does not have an Esthetician or Cosmetologist license and went to someone to become certified in a specialty such as waxing, lashes, nails etc…

🌟In FL as well as many other states it is ILLEGAL for you to wax,do lashes,nails etc…without a license.

🌟You can be licensed and get certified with a professional that has went through the process to become an Licensed Instructor to further your knowledge but you cannot preform these services legally without a license.

🌟You also can to be a cosmetologist and provide facials, do nails etc… Cosmetology license goes a long way…

🌟To sum it all up Certifications are nothing more than a piece of paper given by someone to acknowledge they taught you a skill. It does not hold up ANYWHERE…

🌟There is no point of getting waxed if you are going to wax then shave then get waxed and repeat this cycle, if you get waxed you cannot shave in between appointments

🌟You are wasting your money. You will never see the benefits of waxing

🌟Your hair will never get fine and sparse.

🌟Waxing and shaving do not go hand in hand.

🌟 If you wax you need to be consistent with it, any time you shave in between waxes you restart your hair growth cycle and will constantly have hairs that are too short for the wax to pick up.

🌟Any benefits you got from the wax will be erased and start from square one the second.

You and your Esthetician are a Team! Any advice your Esthie gives you please take it into consideration. After Care is so Important. It’s up to you to make sure it gets done. Remember you only see your Wax Specialist ONCE A MONTH!

Here are a 5 tips to help you along the way!

•Stay consistent with 1 waxer
•Exfoliate atleast 3x a week
•Moisturize Daily
•Avoid s*x for at least 24hrs after a wax.
•Wear loose clothing day of your wax appointment.
