The NAACP and SNCC Legacy Project are commemorating 60 years since Freedom Summer with the Freedom Summer 60 Conference this Friday, June 21, and Saturday, June 22 in Indianola, MS.
This commemoration of the freedom struggle revisits the Mississippi Delta, where we fought for the right to vote and WON.
