Tomato Pies 😍

2 par baked pie shells

3 lbs tomatoes, salted and well strained

1/2 lb bacon, crumbled

1 cup mayo
1 cup shredded cheddar
1/4 cup buttermilk
5-6 fresh basil leaves, chiffonade(d) 🤷🏻‍♀️
Lots of black pepper
Mix mayo-basil together

Layer tomatoes, then bacon, then mayo mixture. Bake @ 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Enjoy!

Hey y'all we didn't just fall off of the Face(book) of the Earth, we have been busy with Ms. Sippi's at the Market. Like our new page for more info and great recipes like this one. This salad was a great success and we did sellout. Oh so yummy! Rich and not so figure friendly. We only make it for holidays...all of them. :) Serve with chips, veggies, or as a spread in place of mayo on burgers, wraps, tomato sandwiches, etc. We promise you'll never like store bought stuff again. Enjoy!
