From a life-changing surgery to a heartwarming reunion! 🌟

Gordon French, a former patient, dropped by to thank Singing River cardiovascular surgeon, Dr. Robert Johnson. Back in 2012, at 83, Gordon faced a serious aortic issue. Dr. Johnson, alongside our team, performed a miraculous operation, giving Gordon a new lease on life. Now at 95, he's thriving and wanted to express his gratitude. It's stories like Gordon's that remind us of the incredible impact we can make, and the lasting bonds we create with our patients. This past Sunday marked National Cancer Survivors Day, and we want to celebrate the incredible strength and resilience of Singing River Cancer patient, Annie Sanders. Annie, the founder of Safe Haven Center for Domestic Violence, has overcome ovarian cancer and continues to battle multiple sclerosis and Chiari malformation type 1. Her dedication to helping others facing similar challenges is truly inspiring. 🌟

On this Memorial Day, we honored the fallen with flag raising ceremonies at all three Singing River hospital campuses.

At Pascagoula Hospital, we had a special presentation on the recent WWII designation, and a soldier was memorialized in a touching tribute.

Their sacrifice inspires us to serve our community with dedication and gratitude! ❤️🇺🇸

Earlier this week, our community came together for a beautiful memorial in the park, honoring our loved ones. We're grateful for everyone who joined us. 🦋

Hospice of Light’s grief support program starts on June 27 at Lucedale Senior Center, offering solace to those impacted by loss. 💙

We’re celebrating success at Singing River Healthcare Academy! Last week, we had the honor of congratulating the exceptional Class of 2024 CTE Program graduates from Pascagoula High School, Gautier High School, and St. Martin High School! In collaboration with the Pascagoula-Gautier School District (PGSD) CTE Program, we proudly certified seniors in Phlebotomy, Certified Nursing Assistant, and Medical Assistant fields.

The ceremony celebrated the achievements of graduates like Emma Brandestein, Leona Burtt, Gissell Fernandez, Shmaiah Hunter, Kailyn Hyde, Haley Jones, Daniela Martinez, Mary Alice McCullough, Awa Ndimbalan, Arely Ochoa, Carlisle Roberts, Waiki Sanders, Alyssa Thompkins, and Tori Williams. 🎓🧑‍⚕️
