Sadly, Mike Pinder of the Moody Blues passed away. Yes, he was the last remaining member of the original Moody Blues (c. Denny Laine era). He also played wonderful keyboards, ie the mellotron. Mellifluous!

One of the most gifted actors passed away: Louis Gossett, Jr.
How many out there are aware that he also was a gifted musician & songwriter? High Flying Bird (made popular by Richie Havens).

The comedian Richard Lewis passed away. The kindest and most neurotic performer. Full of personality. RIP.

Sadness comes to the culinary world. The great chef David Bouley passed away. May his eternal rest be a sumptuous soufflé!

Happy Lunar New Year for those who partake in its celebration! For everyone else, there is dim sum!

A true loss in the music world. The renowned conductor, Seiji Ozawa passed away. May he RIP and forever be enveloped in a rhapsody.

A sad day in the world of comedy: Tom Smothers passed away. Who cannot appreciate his and his brother Dick’s sense of humor and timing. RIP and Mom loved you, too!

Christmas is universal. So, Merry Christmas to all that observe it or just participate as a layman!

Today marks the 85th anniversary of Kristallnacht. A horrible event which is ever more so relevant with the rise of antisemitism worldwide. NEVER AGAIN!
There is a distinct difference between rival political philosophies and pogroms. We will not idly sit back and watch. Remember, NEVER AGAIN !

Matt Gaetz - Somehow, he reminds me of Frankenstein’s monster. I can imagine little children donning a Matt Gaetz mask, assume his physical demeanor, ringing doorbells on Halloween and yelling, “Trick or Impeachment!”

Illya Kuryakin passed away. That is, the talented British actor David McCallum. For those in the dark, Illya Kuryakin was the character he played on The Man From U.N.C.L.E. His talent went way beyond that character.

RIP David.
