I finally finished this set. I’ve honestly been a bit unmotivated lately. The color and trim was inspired by a nightstand did. I’m usually not a red person. But the color I found had just enough brown undertones. ♥️ Swipe to see the before photo.

Just a quick nightstand makeover I did over the weekend. I’m overwhelmed with all my home updates. I needed a little furniture refinishing therapy. 🖤
•Primed with Clear Stain Blocking Primer
•Painted with OHE paint in the color Jett.
•Polyvine Wax Finish Varnish topcoat.

Check out the transformation! This client piece pushed me to my limits. I had to strip the finish three times and start from scratch. What seemed like a simple makeover turned into a battle against the wood’s stubborn orange hue. But persistence paid off, and I finally concocted a winning mixture for my client.✨

• I used Milk Paint Stain in the color Sherwood Brown once it was dry I lightly wet sanding to remove some of the finish.

I managed to capture a static image of the cabinet I recently refinished. Employing in the shade Cast Iron, I executed a paint wash technique. The nuanced wood tones result from the application of clear salve to select areas of the drawer fronts, wiped off before completing the paint wash.

For all my local Oklahoma City followers. I ran into this New Antique Mall today. 3 Strands Vintage It’s off of NW Expressway. It’s huge & beautiful inside with lots of treasures. These were a few of my favorites.

💫 Currently working on a few projects, and I think this Ethan Allen coffee table will be my final completion before 2024. After a thorough sanding, I applied a paint wash using in Cast Iron. The result pleasantly surprised me; I expected it to be black, but I genuinely love the outcome.
