Del City MX

As a heads up we have made the decision to close both tracks for the rest of the summer. I'm sure this comes as a shock to some but we really haven't opened AMP during the summer for the last 5 years anyways. Maybe I'm just getting old but I just can't justify the wear and tear on equipment in this heat for the summer turnouts. We will see everyone back late September. We will resume Mini X racing then, and the Oklahoma Oklahoma winter series will Kick off in November.

Vickie road has been shut down in Del City blocking off our track entrance temporarily, there will be nothing in DC this weekend. I'll talk to the city early next week and get a solution. Next weekend we plan to have a Saturday mini x races then Sunday Fun day races for all classes. Flyer coming soon.

We got an inch of rain this morning at AMP in Stillwater. We are going to take advantage of it and have practice tomorrow 10-4. $25 per rider

We plan to get back to Mini X racing this Saturday evening! Lots of clean up work today after 2 weeks of rain. We are located in a flood plane and this place grows up unbelievably fast.

Just about to start putting water down here in Del City. The weather is awesome today! Gates open at 2 with practice at 4 and races at 5.

Summer racing continues with Mini X this Saturday evening at 4pm. The summer time weather is here, please drink plenty of liquids!

Mini X racing continues Saturday evening 6/24. Closed Sunday 6/25 for 918 vs. 405 racing at TMX. We hope some of you join us to wrap up the 405's domination of the 918.

What qualifies as a pit bike?
The rules state air cooled, horizontal 4 stroke 110's (motor mods allowed). The 3 main players are the CRF110, KLX110, and TTR110. There's also a slew of china bikes like the pitster pro 110

One of the Mini X questions that gets asked the most by new riders is "What is a mad dog"

Mad dogs are vertical engine, air cooled, 4 strokes, 150cc or less.
You will typically find TTR125's, KLX140's, CRF125's etc. in the class. Occasionally you will see the older CRF150F's and 100's, DRZ125's etc. Originally sold as "Play bikes" adult riders have been modifying them for years as backyard racers. There isn't a much more affordable way to go racing.

Tiller parts came in today which means even better dirt conditions for this weekend. We will be adding some track as well.

Mini X fun continues next Saturday! We were fighting weather yesterday and didn't get to do everything we would like to the track. For next weekend expect some additional track added, we will also have the place dressed up to make these kids feel like they're at a pro national.

Really happy with our 50cc-85cc turnouts and also excited to have some Mini quads show up. We're going to be posting more information all week about Mini X classes, what bikes race in what classes etc.

Mini X is all about fun and we're going to build this thing.

A huge thanks to everyone who came to our first ever Saturday mini X event. I really believe in these and will continue to run them all summer long every Saturday evening. We are going to add a section or two in for next weekend now that we know we can get finished before dark.
