JJ the Jaguar and Leo the Lion are cruising in to share some big news!

Registration is now open for the 16th Annual Moore War Run!

Celebrating our "Sweet 16" the morning of Saturday, August 24, this 5K cruises the streets of downtown Moore. The 2024 Moore War Run is coordinated by the Moore High School Alumni Association, Inc. and Westmoore Alumni Association with proceeds benefiting students at both schools. Runners and walkers of all skills are welcome.

Each participant will receive a custom medal featuring this original artwork created by Straight Forward Creations.

Registrants can also select whether or not they want to receive a T-shirt with the same design when registering.

Jags for Life!!

Special Olympics Oklahoma athlete Madison "Maddog" Madory flew to the Big Apple and was surprised with her own billboard in the heart of New York. She’s helping debut limited-edition sweatshirts that declare, “Yeah, I am Special” on shoppable billboards in NYC – redefining what it means to be special. Madi is a 28-year-old powerlifting dynamo who can deadlift 1.5 times her bodyweight. Here’s her billboard and her reaction to seeing it ❤️

Kickoff at 7pm - if you haven’t purchased your ticket yet, the gate opens at MPS Stadium at 5:30pm!

Scholarship opportunity in memory of Philip Hagan Wickett from the Class of 2002. This is the 8th year of his family honoring him through scholarships.

“Philip was a funny, caring, kind, and generous person. He loved others BIG!! He always greeted you with a smile and a bear hug. He was a computer wiz and he was also a gifted singer. He graduated from Westmoore high school in 2002.”

Amy (Beck) Coker Class of 1992

Amy Coker serves as our executive director of perioperative services and was recognized as our most recent recipient of the Sister Rose Power Leader Award. She is loyal to her team and provides unwavering support as a leader. Her courage is evident in every aspect of her work. Her peers described her as “the ultimate servant leader” and “the definition of hard-working." Amy puts her team and patients at the forefront of everything she does. Amy's leadership isn't just a title; it's a supportive and responsive force that fosters growth and collaboration.

We want to congratulate Amy for being such a bright light at Mercy and representing what the Sister Rose Power Leader Award is all about. Thank you for all you do, Amy!

The Moore War Run is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We are currently seeking water donations and Finish Line Festival sponsors. Email [email protected] to participate.

These two Oklahomans have had it — and they're taking their hit podcast on tour Jennifer Welch and Angie "Pumps" Sullivan, two women from Oklahoma City, are going on tour next month for their hit podcast “I’ve Had It."
