Son del Barrio was established in 2002 and was the best of Latin music in Oklahoma for many years. They enjoyed making people dance, laugh and enjoy the evening. In 2014, singer Robert Ruiz was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer in his throat. Left with a difficult decision, Son del Barrio made the decision of performing for the last time.
