I learned a new technique! For a while now, I've seen some very detailed cutters being sold, but I couldn't figure out why anyone would want to sit and painstakingly paint all those super tiny lines. Guess what... they don't! This is called "grouting" and it has blown my mind with how cool some of my magnets are going to look now 😍

When you start a project because it seems like a good idea, but have no clue how much work it's going to be... This one isn't coated yet, but I needed to document how cool it turned out just in case something goes wrong
TW: loss/suicide Working on new techniques, I felt compelled to try this for the month of September. For those who aren't aware, September is Suicide Awareness month (I realize it's now technically October, but I'm still trying to get "caught up" with what I've been working on). Losing someone to themselves, I've found, is a whole different type of grief. It's not just sadness, but also anger and guilt and longing all rolled into one. And sometimes we need reminders ourselves to not give up, to not allow the darkness inside to claim us. If you're ever struggling, please reach out to someone. 💜💚❤️🩹
Despite not posting, I've been super busy trying to finish up some of my last minute projects before we move in a couple of months! Anyone else ever feel like they know they have something they NEED to do, but their brain won't let them do it and insists on doing everything ELSE instead? That's kinda how I feel about packing--especially my craft supplies. "Just this one more project and then I'll pack everything up," is basically my mantra right now 😂 But in that fit of finishing all.the.things come beauties like this! Sent this special request off to its new home last week. I can't get enough of the color lift on that chunky bottom glitter!
For some reason, FB wouldn't let me post this last night, but another 3D tumbler I made recently. Lessons learned on this one, no matter how dry/clean you think it is, don't set the cup down on a surface that had glitter if you don't want it to also have glitter on the bottom 😂 #NostalgiaTumblers #LearningNewTechniques #GlitterIsTheHerpesOfCraftSupplies
Looking forward to getting back to buttons soon. But for now, I'm really enjoying the sparklies on my turner 😁
Since I'm allergic to epoxy, I've been trying different sealing products for my tumblers so that I can offer more than just layered HTV. I decided to try a couple more "drip" tumblers to test Crystalac Brite Tone.
