Hello Brothers, Sisters, and Friends..
Sister Edna Gado (Marist Sisters) who is a friend, and Phycologist, I work with in Davao, Philipinnes (She Works with street children, daughters of prostitutes to break the generational pattern and chain through “Balay Bannag” in Los Amigos, educates youth on breaking s*x trafficking in Davao, works with Recovering Moms through “Talikala” in Davao, and actively participates in many environmental groups and organizations/concerns for Mindanao) was struck by a tricycle, with no lights (Hit and run) this last Friday. She was sent to a public hospital and then transferred for surgery, the public hospital could not attend to her immediate head injury nor did they have any ICU spots available on her arrival. As a result, and after a transfer to another hospital, she had brain surgery-it’s very touch & go at the moment, regarding her prognosis.
Sister Edna has helped and dedicated her life to helping those without a voice in Mindanao, and specifically in Davao for years! She is an awesome human being, and a shining bright light for Davao, and the World!!!! We too have done some projects together throughout the years with Traveling 4 Changes , and assist one another in many of the same focused projects.
I am asking if you Brothers can send some strong prayers for her! I too have an ask if within our Lodges and Brothers- if you can ask them to pray for her as well🙏 Secondly, If there’s any Brothers that can keep an eye out on her care- we the Marist Sisters, The Brothers of the Sacred Heart, the children/families/communities she helps, and myself will and would so very much appreciate your kind concerns, and efforts !

Visited with the “Cemetery Children” today… A very poor community in Davao. We joined The Brothers Of The Sacred Heart, initiating a reconnect with the children. As always the the Brothers stepped in in full compacity, facilitating an event (The Moses Project. This focuses on living with and being compassion. Lead by Brother Joel). The Holy Cross College also had volunteer staff, as well as 10 senior Criminal Justice students who joined in full capacity! We had lessons, games, dance, food, drinks, and snacks for 150 children and families. Busy day, Annabel cooked (As always putting mojo in with love), and all of T4C Team and a few of the Sacred Heart Staff prepped the food dancing to “One Love” - Bob Marley and other songs… Thank you T4C team, Thank you Brothers, Thank you Holy Cross College of Davao, and thank God for the opportunity to connect with others to provide genuine face to face connection, and full tummies …
Tomorrow a joint connection with SAKADAB, Balay Banaag (Girls Home -Marist Sisters)… More will be revealed!
