Olympia Scout Troop 266
Troop 266 - World class scouting since 1966. If you have youth ages 6-17, Olympia Scout Troop 266 has a slew of amazing opportunities and activities.
Scouts have fun and make friends while learning leadership, outdoor skills, teamwork, personal responsibility, performing community service, and building character.
Olympia Scout Troop 266 takes Cub Scouts and turns them into Boy Scouts! Our Seeker program immerses newly crossed over Scouts in scouting and outdoor skills for their first 6 months. Not only does this help them hit the ground running, but it also gives older Scouts opportunities to teach and lead. This weekend we enjoyed the beautiful grounds of Camp Thunderbird and Camp Akela at Summit Lake. Scouts learned tenting, cooking, animal identification, fire building, and how to safely use knives, axes, and saws. Whew!
