Oh boy, do we have an amazing donor to be thankful for! The other day, an FSC case manager got a call from a client stating they had gotten a new job! What exciting news 😊 But now they needed a form of reliable trasnportation and had no prospects in sight. A couple of days later, our receptionist recieved a phone call from a community member who had bought a new car and wanted to do something good with their old one... and this is when the wheels started to turn! Within about a couple days and a few phone calls, our client was able to get a free car and drive it right off the lot, just in time for their new job! Wooohoooo! Today was the official groundbreaking for phase 1 of The Landing, our newest project. The Landing will provide much needed AFFORDABLE housing (with supportive services!) for our community. We will share more photos and updates as the awesome team at Walsh Construction Co. creates 62 units of housing over the next several months. We really appreciate everybody who showed up today to help us celebrate!!

So thankful for the hardworking volunteers that are making this dream a reality!! We have been truly lucky to have the Lacey Rotary, Tumwater Rotary Club, Olympia Rotary Club as our partners on this project. A huge shout out to the crew from Washington State DSHS for all their work too!! Olympia Learning Center was there too and they are loving the progres :)

So thankful for our volunteers who are out on a grey day! Everybody is working hard to bring our new playground to life. We appreciate our volunteers!!!! We couldn't make this happen without Olympia Rotary Club, Lacey Rotary, Tumwater Rotary Club, Washington State DSHS, a local high school Interact Group, of Board of Directors, and all the other great volunteers!

Join us for the Tumwater Trunk or Treat, happening today from 4 to 7 PM, over at the Masonic Memorial Park in Tumwater. The fall colors are beautiful, the sun is shining, there are some great decorations, and a heck of a lot of candy. See you anytime between 4-7! Feel free to bring some hygiene supplies, diapers, food, new socks, or baby supplies. Donation are greatly appreciated but not necessary.…just come out and say hi!
