We are pleased to announce that our Capital Savings and Loan Building is going on the National Register of Historic Places! We can't wait to restore this special building, and are looking for tenants that would appreciate its unique character. (And yes, this was the second location of )!

Take a look at Capital Savings and Loan Association building when it was brand new! We're working on getting it back to its former glory and will be looking for a tenant that can appreciate its great architectural style.

Follow up to the great article in the Olympian. We are now on the Washington State Historical Register! Next step, the National Register! The people at the Department of Archeology and Historical Preservation and the Washington State Archives have been fantastic!

We are also KBJ Investments here at the office, and we made the paper!!! If anyone knows of someone who would be a good fit, let us know. We also think this would make a great museum or convention center for someone looking to do that in downtown Olympia!

Join us to learn more about our exciting new business assistance program… DO-BIS during Downtown Academy, 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 27 at The Washington Center for the Performing Arts Black Box Theater! The new program offers downtown businesses free individual business advising sessions. Come learn more about this program from the ODA and Thurston Economic Development Council Business Advisor Daryl Murrow. Daryl has assisted dozens of downtown businesses over the years through EDC programs such as Tune-Up and Scale-Up. We promise this will be time well spent! This program is offered in partnership with the Thurston Economic Development Council (EDC) and the City of Olympia.
