A long – long Yellow – on the Lawn –
A Hubbub – as of feet –
Not audible – as Ours – to Us –
But dapperer – More Sweet – -Emily Dickinson. . . . . . . . After taking the summer off of posting art.. I’m back with a recent abstract landscape painting 🍃 this one is from a beautiful pond in Louisiana. It’s mixed media (watercolor, pencil and pastel) on aquabord 11x14” dm for pricing and availability.

Here’s my 100 day project all together for 2023 (4 larger paintings not pictured). Although I was ready to be done and move on to some other things it really feels strange to not have a painting to finish each day! I’m going to be working on some larger paintings and matting and framing some of these for sale! . . . . . . . . . . . .

And that’s a wrap! 100 days of paintings done!

This was from earlier this year during the crane migration. We had the opportunity to sit by the river near Grand Island, NE and watch the cranes come in for the night by the hundreds! They are just tiny little dots in the sky in this image but they were loud and came closer as night fell. There was also an eagle’s nest we observed. It was beautiful and such a good experience!
