Car Collector Appreciation Day
Anybody who knows me knows my deep passion for cars. My Grandpa swears to this day my first word was Lamborghini.
Not many people know, but this 1980 Chevy Monte Carlo was actually my first car. I bought it from my Great Aunt for $500 when I was 15. After high school, I was fortunate to be able to rebuild this car from the ground up into the high school car I had always wanted. It took several years and this car earned the nickname "Piggy Bank", but I wouldn't change a thing. I love Piggy Bank and someday I will be able to tell my kids, "No, you can't drive it."
