I was diagnosed in 2018 with Major Depressive Disorder & I’m not ashamed of that. One of the ways in which I communicate that I’m having a depressive down cycle is to say “I’m dealing with clouds today.” So I drew a grumpy cloud to remind myself & others it’s okay to have cloudy days. Plus, this grump is super adorable.

Hi there! I thought it might be fun to do a meet the maker post while we are all waiting for our “regularly scheduled” posting to resume lol so let’s dive right in:
-My name is Tammy. I am 30 years old. I’ve been making candles since I was a teenager, but officially opened my Etsy in June 2018.
-I am q***r. I am asexual. Feel free to look up what that means and understand it’s a spectrum.
-I have (self diagnosed) Autism Spectrum Disorder. Self diagnosis is valid, and it’s really hard for adults (especially women) to get diagnosed properly, not to mention it’s expensive. Anyway, I had symptoms my entire life that I never knew were actually autism. I recently discovered this about myself and it made a lot of things make sense for me finally.
-Me and my partner purchased our first home recently! It’s been a whirlwind and a challenge, but happy so far.
-I’m awful at picking favorites (I think this is related to my autism) but I love the scent of petrichor, fresh cut grass, really any nature smells.
-My hyper-fixations are books/reading, squishmallows, and crystals. But this can change at any moment. Hopefully it doesn’t though because I really like my current interests lol.
-I’m a vegetarian. Have been since July 2021.
-Last but not least, I have endometriosis & PCOS so I have pain regularly and I’m working with my doctor to regulate that. I share this personal stuff so y’all can know that if you too struggle with any of these or other debilitating things, you can know you’re not alone.❤️‍🩹

🐀What’s you’re favorite anime? Recently, I finished Naruto & it’s my favorite. The emotional damage that show caused me will live on forever in my heart. But I also LOVE Fruits Basket. It’s got the slice of life feel with a side of emotions, drama, and fantasy. Highly recommend!

🧛🏻Ah Strahd, how we love to hate you, or hate to love you? Both? I’ve always had a thing for vampire stories, they are one of the supernatural beings I always find fascinating to read or watch media about. While Vampire’s Curse is inspired by a specific Barovian Count, it definitely has the feel of any gothic vampire story you fancy. It blends black cherry with red merlot, & dark amber for a seductive scent that is sure to hypnotize you. Highly recommend, it is one of our bestsellers and a fan favorite.
