My tendinitis is getting worse and I find it really hard to focus on the business sometimes cause it hurts even I just put my hand on my computer keyboard. My daughter 👩 is one to constantly doubt ❓❓❓ herself and her studies, especially during exam season (which just ended). She is an incredibly dedicated girl but can be incredibly hard on herself and have hesitations about herself studies. During her study periods, I can always hear her complaining about how she’s going to fail or she has no idea what is going on at all. But when her results come back, her marks are nowhere near failing. This type of self doubt and ‘I don’t think I can’ attitude is surprisingly common. But we would be highly surprise with how much we could achieve if we would just let go of a lot of negative habits in life and start attending to our dreams with more consistent actions.

I always want to lose a bit of weight and be my healthiest self. I had this whole plan to work out every day, eat healthy, and sleep early 5 years ago. But even now, this plan has yet to be executed. I told myself, “it’s ok to wait for another day, I’m not in a rush”… “I’ll do it tomorrow… I am still pretty healthy”. I kept falling back on my excuses, until I realised I’ve procrastinated for too long when I got tendonitis and a bad stomach.

People including me are always waiting to feel ready, inspired and motivated before we do something we want. But the truth is: It’ll never happen. There is never a perfect moment to take action. We lose time, blowing opportunities, risking our health (that’s me)….and more.

In order to overcome procrastination or “wait for the RIGHT moment”, we need to learn how to embrace the discomfort comes from starting something new, something not in our daily routine and accept whatever emotion involves and bounce back quickly.

If I waited until I felt ready for this business, I would never achieve any of the best things it brought to my life.

My daughter used to have a really bad habit, she never cleaned up or put things back to where they belong after used. I talked to her regarding that for so…. many times and it still happened every day. One day, I saw a bottle of milk with the cover opened sitting on the dining table when I was back home in the late afternoon. I was kind of pi**ed 😠. She looked at me with that innocent look and claimed that it wasn’t her. She even told me that she was the one who cleaned all the dishes in the sink that morning. Of course, with my unpleasant past experience together with the growing hormones that lead to rebellion and risky behaviour in teenagers, we ended up in a pretty bad fight 😡🤬. Half way through the fight, Oops 😱😲😮😲😨😰😥😓….I remembered that it was me because of an emergency phone call, left the milk on the table…..

Ghost 👻 of the past always stands in the way of effective communication, including filtering, selective perception, differences in meaning between sender and receiver.

We make the same assumption of certain situations base on our past experiences. I am glad that when I talked to my coach, she explained clearly to me and told me to put down my prejudice and old understanding in the past, so I can see the heart and core of this business today.

I remember few years back, I brought my daughter a little backpack 🎒 for her birthday. She opened it and gave me a funny face.... YES she never likes backpack, especially in that weird colour in her eyes 🤣. She just put it aside and didn't even touch it or check it out.

What she didn't know was that I had hidden a little leather wallet she had been longing for quite a long time inside the backpack.

I did see this business as the colour backpack before... but for some reasons I decided to dig deeper... and found out the blessings that was there for me.
