Part of our crew at Rooted had the pleasure of celebrating last night at their Golden Gala. It was an honor to be there and to see the impact they are making for Auburn students going through an unplanned pregnancy.

This sweet girl graduated from PT today! Although I'm proud of how far she has come, I sure am sad I won't be getting my regular visits from her.

Austill Patterson, PT, DPT received her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Furman University in 2011 and her doctorate of Physical Therapy from Mercer University in 2014. She has been practicing as a pediatric physical therapist for 9 years. Austill has treated in variety of settings including outpatient private practice, inpatient rehabilitation, early intervention services, and school systems in both Birmingham, AL and Auburn, AL.

Austill specializes in pediatric neurological, genetic, and orthopedic conditions, as well as general developmental delays. She is also trained in post selective dorsal rhizotomy rehabilitation, orthotic management and selection, lower extremity serial casting, and intensive therapy programs.

As a clinician, Austill utilizes a client and family-centered approach that promotes participation and independence.

Personally, Austill has been married to her husband Andy for 7 years and is the mother to three little ones. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outside at the lake and farm, and going to any Auburn sporting event.
