Unseasonably cold and drizzle…yet game played on.
Players need to be prepared for all types of weather and field conditions. Anticipating equipment changes; type of cleat, under shirts etc.

10 years ago this month, our family came to Pachuca, Mexico as guests of the Mexican Soccer Federation.
Our father was Inducted into the fútbol Hall of Fame. Adalberto ‘Dumbo’ Lopez, was recognized as one of Mexico’s greatest strikers. Fantastic, televised ceremony and events.
Unforgettable family event.

My brother found this pic today…looks like Dad playing for Guadalajara Chivas, circa late 40’s. Always a natural right footer…looks perfectly comfortable striking the ball with his left. A classic number 9!
