Race Day Saturday: Baertschi Invitational!
This is one of my favorite races of the year but parking can be troublesome with 30+ teams in attendance. Some years there is parking in the bean/corn field. Other years you are required to park on the side of the road. Please arrive early as it could take you some time to walk to the meet.

Midwest Invite Recap-Varsity Race: Yordanos Zelinski(15:35.3) placed 7th overall and received a medal for his outstanding performance. Wil Cram (18:16), Odin Beck (18:35), and Ty Pieper (18:44) all set new personal records as well. Yordanos’s new personal record is now the NEW Oregon High School Cross Country record for five kilometers! He surpassed his previous best time of 15:57, tied with Bob Richardson(1988).

Blue Race: Every runner set new personal records!! All five runners sub 20! Adam Mikkelson(19:11), Noah Lisowski(19:21), Ryan Fahey(19:26), Evan Burmeister(19:39) and Tyler Fisher(19:39

White Race: 15 of 22 runners set new personal records!! Cael Anderson (19:53) who received a medal for his race performance by placing 26! Additionally Joe Downing(20:02), Philip Emmerich(20:29), Jack Schwarz(20:36), Aaron Dieter(21:03), Kellen Kavan(21:14), Charles Whitney(21:15), Aidan Hughes(21:49), Simon Niemcek(22:00), Alex Palmer(22:03), Alex Seitler(22:16), Tanner Clark(23:30), Jacob Worden(27:36), Jackson Walsh(28:06), Evan Case(28:59), Jake Chung(31:53) as set new personal records!
