Andy and I transformed this dark kitchen in a beachfront condo into a chef's dream.
Resurfacing the cabinets and adding new light, we were able to make this smaller, enclosed kitchen feel more roomy and spacious. 🔪🏖🌊🐚

Paint and caulk are inexpensive updates that go a LONG way! A little sanding and paint brought these baseboards and and the trim around the doors back to life. We also scraped out the old caulk in the bathrooms and kitchen and recaulked for a nice clean look.

Had big fun working in this tiny house. :) After collaborating with the builder, we got to work. Our projects included installing:

*Shiplap throughout and wall planks on the ceiling

*Lighting and ceiling fans

*Full kitchen-cabinets/ hardware, undermount sink, lighting, butcher block countertop, convertible range hood, and faucet.

*Bathroom- suspended vanity, shower pan, tile, and toilet.

*Pocket door

*Finishes- baseboard, crown moulding, and framed in the windows.

*And my personal favorite- we created a his and hers closet with a built in chest of drawers and barn doors

This open space (connected to the kitchen) was not utilized yet, had so much potential. Using the same 3 panel doors that are throughout the house, we created a false wall (left side), installed bard door hardware, and hung the matching interior doors. Finished with a simple pendant light, this room is now a functional pantry.
