I've been seeing Dr. Olivia for over 3 years now. She's so great and an amazing dentist. I 100% recommend if you have dental anxiety! She's been patient with me as I've learned to take care of my dental health and has always been encouraging, educating, and gentle. Today she fixed something about my teeth that's really bothered me that I didn't even know was fixable. Go see Dr. Olivia! Also the dental hygienist is excellent too! She explained how to care for my teeth and encouraged me and now the cleanings are painless! She was also very patient and encouraging as I figured it out. Floss!

For a few days I had been experiencing some dental discomfort while chewing, and it wasn’t resolving. My concern was mounting, as I was scheduled to leave in a few days for a 6-day business trip. Nonetheless, the office found a way to squeeze me into their schedule, for which I very was grateful. At the visit, x-rays were taken and Dr. Olivia explained the issue. After several bite tests, she made the diagnosis and shared with me the options and her recommendation. After the minor and painless procedure, she said it might take 2-3 days to fully resolve — and that’s just what happened. My family and I have been going to her office since moving to Overland Park 4+ years ago, and she and Dr. Lee have always provided reliable, kind, timely and expert dental care for all of us.

We love to see your children and recommend their first visit be when they get their first tooth!

We go slow! - this may mean we only do one or two things each visit to get your child comfortable with our tools and equipment!

Counting teeth, using our dental mirrors, wearing sunglasses for the light 💡, polishing and flossing the teeth are all easy to do at the first visit.

We will ask your permission about fluoride application, necessary x-rays, and provide diet recommendations and hygiene instruction!

TVs are above each of our hygiene chairs to distract and entertain kiddos, and at the end they will get to pick out a prize to put in their toothbrush bag!

We love seeing your family here, and can’t wait to see you soon!

Ranae- Dr. Lees assistant is working part time until his retirement in May 25’. She is a new grandma and also loves dogs! 🐾

Allow me to (re)introduce myself!

My name is Dr. Olivia Rauschenbach, I am a board certified cosmetic and general dentist in Overland Park, KS. My passion is caring about my patients and their oral health. Now more than ever, our heath is of the utmost importance. Our oral health is a direct indication of overall health and can be linked to many systemic diseases, inflammation, and even gut health! I love helping each individual identify diet and lifestyle habits to maintain a healthy mouth, in turn promoting a healthy life. Prevention and regular care is my main focus so you can keep your teeth for life!

I also love helping my patients make cosmetic and esthetic changes to their smiles so they are the happiest. This can include cosmetic veneers, sure smile tooth alignment, and in office whitening to name a few procedures we do for our patients.

Personally I am getting married next month to my fiancé Stephen. You may see him around town playing jazz music at local establishments throughout Kansas City. I love to cook, read, and travel. I fuel my passion for music by singing at church on the weekends, and have a love for horses and riding with my mom. I try to practice what I preach and stay active at my cycle studio, and love walking through the KC parks or hiking on trips! I can’t wait to meet you and will always go out of my way to help in any way I can, so feel free to send me a message!

Some baby teeth stay in the mouth forever! But most will be lost by age 12.

Now this is a story, all about how I became a dentist.

Dr. Rauschenbach grew up surrounded by parents who are dedicated dental practice owners. Her father is a dentist and mother, a hygienist. They have owned a family practice for over 35 years and have patients who love them dearly. Always seeing happy patients come in and out of her father’s practice, she knew they were truly taken care of with the highest level of care, but more importantly, treated like family. It was hard understanding why there was so much fear and negativity connected to dental visits, when all she saw in her dad’s practice growing up was happy, smiling patients.

Fast forward a few years, from being the little girl with a dream and a dentist Barbie, to 4 years of college followed by 4 years of dental school, and 5 years being a practicing dentist. The years go by quickly, but finding a dental practice similar to her fathers, is what spurred her desire to own and care for a family practice. Dr Rauschenbach enjoys building long term relationships, and shows kindness in prioritizing compassion to each and every patient. This helps to lessen the stigma of negativity surrounding dental visits and build a strong foundation of trust in dentistry.

Emma is our therapy dog!

She is different than a service dog, in that she is here for emotional support, and to help patients with their dental fear or anxiety. She was specifically trained to help patients in the dental office!

She accepts all the pets from patients unlike a service animal. She also does not wear any type of vest like you might see on a service dog.

We love having her at the office but she is also a pet to Dr. Lee and Linda ♥️

Emma is at our office 2 days a week and can come back to your treatment room or she stays in the waiting room greeting patients or is taking naps underneath our front desk. 😴
