Dear Runners, Walkers, and Supporters of the Father's Day Run:

After a 30 year stride, the Father’s Day Run is taking a breather. Due to construction on our expanding campus, we are unable to host the 2018 Father’s Day Run.

Expanding Village Shalom’s memory care program and independent living opportunities will complete our campus in an exciting way. In order to reach our bright future, we ask for your patience through these growing pains.

For 30 years, the proceeds from the Father’s Day Run supported the many programs and services provided by our memory care program. Thanks to the help of our dedicated runners, walkers, and community members, Village Shalom has built an exceptional memory care program. You made the difference in the lives of our memory care residents for the last 30 years.

Although you may not be able to participate in a run this year, you can still make a difference. Make a donation to Village Shalom’s memory care program at https://www.villageshalom.org/ways-to-give/charitable-giving/fathers-day-run.

Your donation provides our residents with dementia-related diseases an opportunity to thrive with Village Shalom’s programs and services.

Father's Day Run 5K/10K

register.chronotrack.com Join us on Sunday, June 18th, 2017 to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Village Shalom's annual Father’s Day Run!! A 5K, 10K, and fun for the whole family! A perfect way to celebrate with dad! Both the 5K and 10K runs are USATF Certified.

With the tents up and parking lot closed off, that means race day is close by! We're so excited to have everyone out at the race tomorrow! See you soon!

TWO DAYS until the Father's Day Run! Right now the forecast is calling for a BEAUTIFUL DAY with a high of 82, clouds early, followed by partial clearing!

Kids' Fun Run Info:
For children under 7, we offer a FREE kids' fun run.
Stretches will begin at 8:30 AM.
Our first heat for under 4 years will start at 8:45 AM in the circle drive. They will run ONE lap around the drive.
The second heat for 5-7 years will begin at 9 AM in the circle drive. The 5-7 year olds will complete TWO laps around the drive.
Afterwards, all kids will receive a medal for their efforts. Special thanks to ABSOLUTE AWARDS, INC for creating such great medals this year!

All Race Day Participants will recieve a meal ticket with their registration packet. With a meal ticket you can have a delicious buffet style breakfast offering choices of scrambled eggs, apple crepes, turkey sausage, and fresh fruit. You can purchase extra meal tickets for $5.00 each.

As we prepare for the 5K/10K on Sunday, our staff and volunteers especially honor those who live with dementia or care for someone with the disease. We are so grateful to our walkers, runners, and benefactors! YOU make a difference!
