Warning: Long Post Ahead (but it's worth it, promise!) What a difference 2 years can make! To say you wouldn't recognize the guy who came through our doors in April of 2022 would be a bit dramatic, but in some ways it's true. When Skyler first started, he was a quiet, reserved and no nonsense kind of guy. Little did we know that he was filled with endless dad jokes and a kindness for helping others take on the challenges that can come with a spinal cord injury. Skyler also hit many physical milestones with us! He went from not being able to fully hold a lock out on the total gym to an unassisted stand for over 6 minutes, initiating and taking steps without trainer assistance and started driving! We are so proud of all the hard work he has put in here. If you made it this far, please help us in wishing Skyler the absolute best of luck as he takes his journey to Law School this fall in Nebraska! We are so proud of the accomplishments he's made and can say with 100% certainty that we are better trainers for having worked with him. GOOD LUCK! We will miss you around the facility, but we are excited to see where this next chapter takes you!
It's been great having Faith back this Summer! Between being here for a guided exercise session or to use the open gym, she really got after it this past month. 💪 Faith has been busy this year finishing up her Associates Degree, going to amusement parks and getting back into hunting (deer and morel) in her track chair donated by another client of ours! Check her out crossing that stage to receive her degree. 👏🎓 We're so glad Faith was able to join us this past month to finish off her Summer before heading back to school this Fall! Good luck Faith!
