Ok. So Nikon D750, Radian 61, Star Adventurer 2i tracker (need to work on my polar alignment), sturdy tripod... What does that do for me? Check it out.

Late in the comet viewing tonight. Got to photograph it last night. Figured why not push it and see if the star tracker will catch it. Never know and you do not know till you try right? We will see what what we can see. 😉

Took this last night. Turned out pretty nice.

FINALLY! Broke out the Radian 61 and put a 2x teleconverter on it and shot with my Nikon D7000 crop sensor. ISO 200 and 1/500th of a sec. Radian 61 starts at f4.5. I am so pumped to get this result. Cannot wait to do some deep sky imaging soon!

Tried an old piece of equipment tonight as I thought it might help bring the moon closer. Not sure it is what I am looking for. Allowed me to barely crop the photo but the focus is off. Still it is really cool to look at the moon. Enjoy.

Found the location for tonight. A lot less light and I cannot wait for the results. Working on a “new to me” technique for night shots. 😁😎

Got to shoot some tonight. Good test. Going further south tomorrow night and shooting with the D750 instead.

Hello All, I have a personal request to send out. I need your help. My cousin Tyler Morris was in a very life changing car accident a couple days ago. He has already gone through a few surgeries and there are several more to go.

A little about Tyler, his business was devastated during the recent hurricane in Florida. Even with all of the devastation down there he was out helping people. That is just Tyler being Tyler. He does that a lot. He helps people. I have always known him to help others when they need it and now he is the one who needs help.

So today I am having more fun with the solar eclipse photos. It was just so stunning.

SO, I am editing my Solar Eclipse pictures and... Houston we have a problem... Or would it be a challenge.... Anyway, I am having a very hard time choosing what images to edit. I love them all. (good challenge to have I guess). Holy Crap!!!! (Note to self... I will. get these pictures narrowed down....) Hope everyone got home safe!!!

Ok. It is the day. Beautiful here in Pencil Bluff, AR. I hope everyone is having good weather for the eclipse. Camera is set up. About an hour left to the start. Who is excited????

Ok. So looks like the plan is set. Will check again in the morning to see if Mother Nature hates me… hehehe. So looking forward to this solar event.

Just drove by my first college in Ft. Smith. The. By the first church I ever shot a wedding in. And also my first apartment complex here in Ft. Smith. Good memories in this town. Looking forward to shooting the eclipse tomorrow. Final planning to start in 3… 2… 1… Go!!!!
