A whole year...feels like yesterday.

Going to NY this weekend. Would have been going with
Cousin Ken. Bittersweet.

My old roadie buddy Ken Barr died. We worked together on many Alice Cooper tours back in the 90s. Ken was a gentle giant (most of the time!) and a true friend. I got the news right before we went to see Judas Priest here in Tucson and it was just so weird to be at a big rock show and thinking of my old friend, we had done so many gigs like that together over the years, the "Bigga Gigs" as we called them LOL! After retiring from touring life Ken was an author and indie film maker, and he encouraged me to write my own books. I would never have had the courage to try it without his inspiration. We had so many adventures on the road travelling the world, I'm grateful we got back in touch the past few years and we talked or texted often. It was great to have Ken back in my life. I will miss you big guy! I hope we will meet again someday in a much better place than this.
