Usually don't put the hedge fund companies on blast but this one might be the worst. Big local company owned by investors.

Replacement of warranty evap coil which company tried to say wasn't but after a few conversations back and forth they realized it was under warranty still.

Tech then stated customer definitely needed a pull and clean of blower wheel.

Quoted $1400.00 to perform.

Customer then looked for second quote over phone.

I was the most reasonable hundred dollar difference from another company.

Day of work. I pull the wheel and come to find out it is very clean and has very very little buildup. Show the customer and explained that a pull and clean was not necessary. Hit it with a brush wiped it down reassembled and collected.

Point of the story shop small. These big companies are just out there to rake in the cash feed the investors.
