Some days you want to watch tv, and others you don’t. This living room transformation allowed us just that. We took an already functional living area and made it a little more traditional. Adding a custom built in, equipped with sliding doors, that allows us to watch tv, while also being able to hide it when we didn’t want to watch.

It was definitely a run for the roses with this lovely, all things southern inspired master renovation.

We took this bedroom and enhanced the over all look with a coffered ceiling, custom drapes, plush bedding, and a fandelier to die for. Gave the master bathroom a facelift, with new custom cabinets, quartz countertops and a walk in shower that will make anyone jealous.
But, that’s not all. We continued throughout the master closet with custom cabinets, adding lights, and floating shelves to help enhance the experience.

Master suites.

Where we find our selves at the end of the day, reflecting on how it was and preparing for the next. They should be full of comfort, different textures, soothing colors, but pops along the way. This master is full of beauty. From the chandelier to the textiles. And the bathroom is what dreams are made of. His and her sinks, a large walk in shower and a soaking tub for relaxing.

Powder rooms aren’t meant to be playful and bold. But can we for a minute talk about how lovely the toilet; with matching brass flusher is? Fully embodying the bluegrass theme of this lovely brownstone, we went with a bold custom vanity, with soapstone countertop and decorative backsplash to house the amazing brass fixtures. Topped off with this amazing instrumental wallpaper; and with art from local artist, and a vintage wooden mirror with brass finials.

Bourbon, bluegrass and thoroughbreds. Our whole inspiration for this project.

We wanted to embody Kentucky in a way that felt like home. From the ground up, a lot of thought and consideration went into all the colors, materials, and fixtures. Making them feel current yet timeless. Mixing old, with new.

I can’t wait to share more of this wonderful project, but for now, enjoy the large open living space. Includes a front Romeo and Juliet balcony to overlook the city, and then a back patio balcony off the dining room, which allows a great breeze to flow through when both sets of doors are open.

Thank you all for trusting my in the process of this beautiful new construction process!

Living rooms are the place we all gather.
We share laughs, and smiles in this room.
We watch tv, and find comfort on the sofa.

This living room got a facelift, and now it’s fit for gathering around, entertaining stories, and ready to share in the comfort of home.

I can’t get over how whimsical and dreamy this exterior transformation is! I’m so happy these reoccurring clients trusted me with giving the exterior a facelift. If you scroll down to the last photo, you can see how this split level was dark, and dated. Now, it’s lite, airy, and pure magic. The limewash turned our dreamy, and the stone accents we did on the chimney, and columns really pop, and add that extra layer of texture. The green shutters are now soft and add just enough of a pop and the new oil rubbed bronze light fixtures really contrast off the brick. But the best part is the bronze gutters that flow seamlessly off the roof line.

This transformation is just fabulous. We took a kitchen that felt small, and dark, and turned it into a large, open flow kitchen! We loved the original wallpaper, so we kept it. Changed the floors, added all new cabinets, extended them to the ceiling, and removed the peninsula and added a large island! Perfect for entertaining now.

The key to making open spaces, that are grand and tall, feel cozy and comfortable, is to define spaces. You create zones or conversation spaces within the area. This allows you to utilize different areas in a more cohesive manner for constant flow and coziness throughout. I absolutely Loved working on this new construction project and bringing it all to life.

Rub a dub dub, this bathroom is fit for a king or queen. Ready to soak in the view from the tub and the tranquility this new build has to offer. egret white walls make for excellent contrast against the black and gold accents. The hardest thing was sourcing giant mirrors for over the vanities that matched, but are very different in size.
As always, thank you to my clients who trust the process.

Creating a home means making it an environment you feel warm and safe in.

This project has been great! From seeing the home with the client before purchasing, to talking through all the changes we were going to make. Changes that wouldn’t take away from the character and charm of the home, but that would enhance the beauty and make it feel more masculine and more of his taste.

From adding a wall to creating a more defined entrance in the living room, to taking up all the carpet and refinishing the beautiful hardwoods.

And thanks to Philip Stanley for trusting the vision through the whole process!

Enjoy the before and afters!

Absolutely loved giving this office a little refresh. The foundation to this great room was already laid, it just needed a little guidance to make it feel cozy, inviting, and a comfortable work environment that encouraged creativity.

By adding layers to the floor it makes it feel softer and warmer. Then by adding additional lighting it creates defined zones. Mixing old with new also makes it feel more personable and again, cozy.
Thanks so much for allowing me to help in this fabulous refresh.

Swipe to see the before!

Sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest impact.

For this dining room refresh, we didn’t need to spend a lot money, or do any major changes, for it already had great bones. Just needed the finishing touches. It now feels polished, cozy, welcoming and put together.

What a great thing to do! Teaching and educating the future generations.

The little changes can sometimes make the biggest impact. For this living room, changing the paint colors, and furnishings really warmed the area. But by changing the hardwood color, sprucing up the fireplace, and removing an over sized built in that blocked the flow into the house, we really transformed the space and the whole mood. Now it’s cozy, and inviting.

Happy fall break everyone! Stay safe and have a great time. Stay tuned for newly posted projects after break!

What’s one way to add height, depth, and texture to a long traditional dining room? Wainscoting! A simple and easy fix to any room that needs a little pick me up.

Kitchen islands don’t always have to be standard. They too, deserve to be beautiful. Our kitchen island was tall, and angled weird. Though it had storage, that was something we weren’t going to miss as you can tell with the floor to ceiling cabinets all the way around. So I wanted something that was beautiful, acted as a prep space and another piece of funiture. So, channeled all the Cotswold kitchens with this one, and went with an open concept island. It’s warm tones play well off the white cabinets.

Entries are made for welcoming you into the home, and can we talk about a fresh start for this lovely and large entry way. Crisp white dove walls are the perfect background for antique pieces, beautiful light fixtures, and the layers of curated goods. The black doors pop, and allow for more contrast. The picture molding adds depth and character and draws the eye up to the stunning antique chandelier!
