1973 Fender Jazz Bass bridge pickup gets a fresh rewind. Unfortunately the original coil wiring was too badly damaged for repair. Back in service soon with a fresh wind and wax potting.

Painstakingly, restoring vintage 1972 telecaster pickups. I’ve had these sitting in a box since 1999. Oxidation on the pole pieces has forced a rewind. Only what is necessary for integrity will be removed, all dirt from 1972 to 2023 will remain. They will be rewound with the original wiring and specs. I still have the original string for the bridge pickup. Obviously they will need a new bath at the end. Wax bath will match Fender times from the era, leaving overtones.
