Last night’s thunder storm forced a life saving helicopter to land in the north field of the Daniel Building. The pilot had picked up a patient in Brewton, AL and was transporting him to West Florida Hospital when weather forced him to land. He said it was the first time in 12 years he was ever forced to land with a patient aboard. The patient was transported by ambulance and the pilot returned for his helicopter today.
