UPDATE ON EFFORTS IN MAYFIELD: We parked our food truck at Mayfield Plaza today and helped feed about 5,000 collectively with the other 3 food trucks and active cooks on site. A lot of the food was transported to the three Red Cross locations set up around town. Thank you to everyone for your support and donations! Especially rhe volunteers who came out to help us today. As always, please continue to keep those affected by the tornado in your prayers 🙏

The food we serve is so much more than simply delicious food truck faire. It's our way of serving others and connecting with the people in our community through God's will. The Coney Express is an ongoing fundraiser for our ministry, Freedom Forever Ministries . We started as a women’s prison ministry and then expanded our efforts to serve at-risk women in our community. Thank you to Kentucky Women’s Missionary Union for putting together a wonderful video of our ministry, Good Grief program and The Coney Express!
Our food truck is backed by a powerful mission 🙏 to spread the gospel to at-risk women in our community. The Coney Express serves as an ongoing fundraiser for our ministry, Freedom Forever Ministries (FFM). Originally a women's prison ministry, FFM recently shifted its mission to serve at-risk women in our community. In the prisons, Lee Rust (founder of Freedom Forever Ministries and The Coney Express) noticed that many of the issues incarcerated women were having inside prison walls stemmed from grief. At the time, there was nothing being done to address this grief and help incarcerated work through their hardships. That’s when Lee decided to create a class to teach the incarcerated women about grief and how to overcome their grief with Biblical teachings. This class became widely popular throughout Kentucky prisons and today, we plan to publish “Good Grief” thanks to the help from the Eliza Brodus Offering for State Missions. This will help us reach even more women in prisons. Thank you to Kentucky Woman's Missionary Union for helping our ministry continue to teach at-risk women about grief to lead them to healing with God’s word and teachings.
The street fair was canceled due to rain, but we’re here for lunch until 1:30. So grab lunch with us and then head to The Carson Center for their kid’s free science show!
