Congratulations to the Tennessee RiverLine: Paducah-McCracken County program. Last night, the Kentucky Recreation and Park Society honored the local program with the Outstanding Program Award for its free paddling events. Monthly from June through October, the community could register for a single or tandem kayak for a river experience of nearly five miles on the Clarks, Tennessee, and Ohio rivers.

For those that are registered for our paddle event tomorrow- We are meeting at Clarks River Landing (4220 Clarks River Road) between 9:00am-9:15am. You can park your vehicles at the launch site. Because of the potential of high winds, we have decided to keep our paddling adventure to the Clarks River. We will still paddle for 2 hours.
We still have space available for those that want to join us with their own Kayak or Canoe.

Registration for our final Free Paddling event of the year will begin tomorrow morning at 8am. We have limited spots available for those that need to use a kayak from our fleet. Our kayaking event is a great way to explore the great river systems that surround Paducah, KY, as well as to meet others in the community who share a similar passion for the outdoors!

What a wonderful day for a paddle! Great weather and a great turnout! A special thank you to our volunteers and McCracken County Rescue for all of the help on each paddle day!

That's more than any other river in the eastern United States! When you're paddling along the Tennessee RiverLine, you'll have the chance to see all sorts of wildlife, from bald eagles to river otters.

You might even see some of the river's more unusual inhabitants, like the Tennessee cave salamander. So keep your eyes peeled; you might be surprised at what you see!
