Yeiser Art Center is now accepting entries for the FANTASTIC FIBERS 2023 international juried exhibition. One of Yeiser Art Center’s most engaging and innovative international exhibitions, FANTASTIC FIBERS seeks to showcase a wide range of outstanding contemporary works related to the fiber medium.
Contemporary and innovative works created with fiber as the primary medium or concept are welcome. This exhibition is open to all artists 18 years and over working in the field of fiber art. All work submitted must be original, completed in the last three years and not previously exhibited in a FANTASTIC FIBERS exhibition. There are no size restrictions. Up to three separate pieces per artist are permitted with an entry fee of $35 to cover all entries. FANTASTIC FIBERS 2023 will be on display at Yeiser Art Center from April 8th to June 24th, 2023.
Deadline to Apply: February 1st, 2023
Notification of Acceptance: February 15th, 2023
Work Due at Yeiser Art Center By: March 25th, 2023, by 5pm
Reception: April 28th, 2023 (awards announced during reception; artists do NOT need to be present to win)

We are excited to be hosting our annual Fall Photography Contest again this year. Submissions will be accepted October 3rd through November 10th. This contest is for anyone who enjoys taking photos outside of fall colors and activities.
Go take a photo at a Paducah, KY park pick your best photo and upload it to https://woobox.com/yjmqhh or via email to [email protected] (include Fall Photography Contest in the subject line). Be sure you include your full name, email, phone number, and where the photo was taken.
Winners will be selected by public vote (visit https://woobox.com/yjmqhh to vote on your favorite photo!) and announced via the Paducah Parks and Recreation page mid-November. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will all receive a prize!

Opening today is "Confessions of a Textile Conservator" featuring works from around the world collected by Harold Mailand.
The pieces in this exhibit span 200 years and include family quilts, along with purchased pieces that caught Harold's conservator eye based on color, wear, or construction.
On exhibit Oct. 7 - Jan. 17, 2023.

Calling all area artists!! It is time for our biennial JURIED SHOW!
Participation is open to artists in any medium in Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, and Illinois. All submitted work must be original and completed within the last three years (2019 or later). Entries must be submitted October 5-8. The show will open with a reception on October 21 and run through November 26. There will be cash prizes available.
