✅Jacob Myers✅

The man, the myth, the legend. Jake Myers is the glue that holds our band together. 3 years ago when the band was formed Jake had nothing more than a great group of friends, a list of songs, and a dream. Myers approaches everything in his life with a humble, tenacious and Christ centered work ethic. With any band there are many complex decisions, opinions, and ideas to balance. Jacob leads us through these with a servants heart. Jake didn’t want to have the band named after himself, but the band unanimously voted for it because we all are proud to be associated with him. Jacob is a simple man and finds joy in his friends, family and faith. Myers listens to a wide range of music including rock, blues, country, and metal. His instrument of choice is a Martin Acoustic or Fender Telecaster. When he isn’t playing music he enjoys cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers in football and basketball. Myers is like a brother to Klaffer, Buchanan, and Windings. His friendship is valued by all who know him. In his relationship with Janna, Jacob is a model for Christian love. If you don’t know Jacob Myers, you’re missing out.

🎸Band Member Spotlight- Janna “Jay” Harner🎸

Miss Harner has a voice that can rock like Joan Jett, has soul like Whitney Houston, and can lull a baby to sleep like Allison Krauss. Janna is who gives our band its feminine side. She brings powerhouse vocals, as well as some good laughs to every gig. She has been in The Jake Myers Band since it’s inception. Janna has been awarded numerous accolades through the Miss Illinois Pageant system for her talents and community service. Soon, she will be walking down the aisle to marry our knucklehead of a band leader. When she is not singing, Janna enjoys reading books and studying literature. Her most favorite thing is spending time with her two amazing nephews.

Connor “The Rhythm Machine” Windings🎸

If the heart of rock and roll is the beat, then Mr Windings is the heart and soul of our band. Connor has been a member of the Jake Myers Band since it’s foundation. Some have called Windings a child prodigy, others have called him the metronome of his generation. He is a multi talented musician and can play the fire out of the drums and piano. Connor is a huge fan of theatre and drama, he has been the lead role in numerous musicals and plays. When he isn’t playing music or acting, Connor enjoys to watch the St Louis Cardinals play baseball, or the latest Marvel/Star Wars films.

🎸Band Member Spotlight- Matt “Buck” Buchanan🎸

We’ve gained about 15 followers last night, let’s keep it up! Only about 70 more until we hit 1,000! We sure appreciate all of your love and support!😎

✅Matt Buchanan✅

Today we’re highlighting the man who holds down the low end of our sound. Matt B has been in the band since it’s foundation. Like Matt K, Matt B has been involved with music for most of his life whether it’s church praise band or The Jake Myers Band. He loves to lay down funky grooves with his Musicman Stringray Bass. He’s one of the biggest classic country and rock’n’roll fans we know. Buchanan’s biggest music influences are Johnny Cash, Credence Clearwater Revival, and Lynyrd Skynyrd. Matt B is also a huge football fan and cheers for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

🎸Band Member Spotlight- Matt “Rex” Klaffer🎸

In preparation for the Shawnee Sasquatch Festival we decided to spot light each of our band members throughout the week!💡

Our goal is to have 1,000 followers by the time the show starts on Saturday, we only need about 80 more likes to get there!👍🏼

✅Matt Klaffer✅

Matt K has been in our band for over a year as our lead guitarist. Klaffer is an avid Indianapolis Colts fan. He has been friends with Jake and Matt B for most of their lives and they have all played in bands together for about 10 years. Klaffer enjoys any music with a sweet electric riff, especially heavy rock, punk rock, and alternative music. His biggest guitar influence is Slash from Guns and Roses. Matt K’s instrument of choice is typically a Gibson Les Paul or Fender Stratocaster.
