Desert Wholesale Diamond

I’ve known HIM since he was a little kid running around the tennis courts of Rancho Mirage. And even though he lives out of the country now, he reached back for the engagement ring and then the wedding ring. As always, it’s such an honor to be a small part of people’s major life moments, especially when you’ve watched them grow up! Congrats Chris and Mariko!

M. called to discuss what shape and size of diamond he was seeking. Since he is a working truck driver, he couldn’t come in to see the diamonds or mountings. He gave our team member, Jon, a few pics to go on and a price range. After a couple of phone calls and texts he said he was very comfortable with us and said that he would put complete trust in Jon to make a beautiful new engagement ring for his future bride. He wanted to propose to her in front of her favorite waterfall in Iceland and
make her dreams come true!

Right before Thanksgiving, he called as he just landed in Palm Springs and wanted to come in and see the diamond and setting with his daughter to get the final approval. They both really loved the Diamond and setting and with his daughters involvement and approval we got the green light! After snapping a few pictures at her favorite waterfall…. She turned around and in shock and surprise, she saw him on his knee, with a DWD box and a brilliant Diamond. Congrats M and J! We are so honored to “be there” in Iceland with you for this magic moment!

B and S have been great clients for some time. They had a vision for this ring and slowed us to bring it to life. They used it to renew their vows and shared the moment with us (and all of you).

Ro came to me on the recommendation of a friend. He and I worked via Insta to come up with the perfect ring for D. Even though he lives a distance away, he came in person to pick up. Once she said YES… they both came back for wedding bands.
She reached out the other day to share these beautiful pictures with me (and all of you). Congrats to you both and I’m so happy to have met you both and been a part of this big day!

We are sooooo gratefully busy in BOTH and … you know of any college or high school kids that would like some holiday cash… we could use office support!

These two visited the Scottsdale office today. They are here from TX and were referred by a client who has become a friend. They’ve honored ME with making her beautiful rings for their upcoming wedding. One of my favorite parts of what I do, is meeting the most amazing people from around the world. Nick came to me on Insta because his friend was so happy with what we did.
We sought out the perfect diamond, custom built a hidden halo setting and made it perfect for the beach proposal! He was super creative even using editing on the CAD to meet the vision (and it was super helpful for my team).
The proposal went great and she loves it!

R came on a referral. He thought he’d found a deal, until I quoted him a price! We worked together to make the dream ring and became friends during the process. He’s sent so many my way because he was so happy, and for that, I truly appreciate him! Congrats to you both and thanks for sharing these amazing pics with all of us!

It’s an amazing thing to be a part of so many major life moments. This beautiful couple (inside and out) came to us on a referral of clients who are basically family at this point. J reached out on Insta as a group of his friends had recently visited me in Palm Desert. We talked about his goals, and what she really wanted, then set about making it come together. The ring is EPIC and the proposal and celebratory road trip, even more so! Congrats to you ALL and thank you for allowing me to be your wingman on this journey!

K first walked in our office to buy a Christmas present….and a few more presents later, it was time to create her engagement ring! We brainstormed ideas and was able to create an absolute stunner, but the challenge doesn’t end there, we had to make it in time for their flight to Spain! We had unexpected delays so K wasn’t able to pick up the ring on time. We go above and beyond for our clients so we insisted on shipping it to him at Spain! At OUR EXPENSE! And voila, K & M were officially engaged as planned at La Alhambra, Spain! Congratulations again, K & M! Thank you for always trusting DWD! Looking forward to creating the wedding bands for the upcoming wedding!

My bf had seen Diamond Dave on TV several times/
every day while watching the local news. When we
very recently talked about getting "my ring" DD was
the first name to come to mind!
I just received my ring and I LO0OOVE IT!! DWD
made everything so easy and fast!! We stopped by
on Monday and had my ring by Thursday!!
Monday - we had an appointment to look at rings,
not thinking that I'd decide on anything or finalize
and order.. Jon made it so easy! Had patience and
knew exactly what to present to indecisive me. I
went in with a specific of what I wanted and ended
up with something very different, but the perfect
ring.
Thursday - to my surprise, I was given my ring,
caught off guard at home!! We had been given an
eta of ~2 weeks... well played! Great
communication and delivery!
Highly, highly recommended! Can't wait to be back
to choose bands! + will never shop for diamonds
anywhere else!!
Separate from my perfect ring - I really like the
privacy of the location, no rush, no aggressive

My team is the BEST! When a client at the beach REALLY wanted to get their special ring before heading on vacation… my team hopped in the car and headed to Newport for a personal delivery! I treated for lunch (and apparently drinks too, lol) at Billy’s. They were happy for the adventure as well as making the clients soooo happy! C reached out on a recommendation. He and I worked via text and tracked down the perfect diamond for his Y! We set it in a classic yellow gold solitaire and then he was ready to go. Gen 3!! My Dad, J Hartley Kantor. Having learned the business from his uncle in Canada… and moving to the States to marry my mom… he had the opportunity to buy one little store in Downtown Tacoma Wa. He worked tirelessly and saw the boom coming for shopping malls. He strategized and over the course of some 20 years, had built it into a chain with a store in EVERY MALL in WA and two in OR!
I went to work part time for him when I was 13. And to his credit, he “Miyagi’d” me! I held every scrub job from shipping to cleaning the shop, to changing watch batteries. He never let me play “owners son” and taught me every aspect of the business.
He sold to an international chain (his stores became Kay’s) and retired at age 49! He lives comfortably in Newport Beach and I couldn’t have learned from a better business man! To the GOAT… Hartley Kantor… Gen 3! 🥂
