My first resin earrings consisted of me adding glitters to resin and pouring the mixture into molds and letting them cure. They were pretty but those beautiful glitters would sink to the bottom of the mold so one side of the earring would have the heaviest glitters right up against the face and the others in back, losing much of their dynamic quality. I worked on a technique that takes many layers, at minimum of 3, sanding and polishing to create an enchanting “suspended in time” appearance. My son says they look like if you shook them, the inside would float like a snow globe. I loved that description and it gives me great joy to know all of my experimentation has paid off. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
