This song always reminds me to be grateful. Everyone experiences high "mountains" and low "valleys" in their lives--the good, the bad and the in between. As Christians, we are called to look to the heavens to find our strength and courage. We are called to always CHOOSE to praise and worship our God at all times and in all places in life. Whether we are at the peak of a life experience or the depths of despair, God still loves us and is present to us. So we should in turn always love Him and be present to Him in prayer.

Recently, I’ve been contemplating this title: ”Child of God.” Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit have always made sense to me—however, the Father has always been hidden and unknown to me.

We are the Father’s adopted children, chosen by Him to be made in His Image and Likeness. I am His Chosen Daughter, created good and set free by Jesus Himself. The Father says who we say we are and alone defines us.

You’re a child of God, yes you are.
