Love that one of my favorite authors framed my octopus painting/card. If you are looking for a great book, you have to read Remarkably Bright Creatures. 🐙

How sweet is this?! This awesome Dad Gavin and his wife Megan asked if I could paint a special painting for their daughter Poppy’s Golden Birthday. (Poppy was 8 years old on August 8th!) So I painted her a Golden Poppy in a field of red poppies. 👩🏻‍🎨 It looks like she loved it. 💛

Refuse to ride, and demand the retirement of elderly, injured and handicapped elephants like Lakshmi! Tourists to India have frequently filmed blatant violations of elephant welfare laws by disreputable tour operators. There are many blind, lame, geriatric and injured elephants that continue to be abused for the ruthless tourism industry. Sign the petition!

Today was special! Book Club is always fun but today was extra special. It was my turn to choose the book and I chose Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt. This is the best book that I’ve read in a long time. If you haven’t read it, you must!! So good!! Today the author herself joined us for our Book Club via FaceTime. It was awesome! She was so kind to spend time answering all of our questions and filling us in on some of the back story of how this debut best seller came about! My day (week, month..) was made! Thank you so much for your time today! Thank you again for the signed book. It’s a treasure to me. 🐙
