At any rate, I have had this type of situation happen a couple of times here in the Palm Springs area. Just this morning I had a 91 year old client (though I swear he looked like he was in his early 70’s). Anyway, he was telling me what is going on in his life and apparently he slipped and fell several weeks back and must have hit his head because he woke up several days later, in the hospital…. But only because he didn’t show up to meet with his friends for coffee 2 days later. He then also told me that someone else has recently been ordering stuff from his Amazon account (to the tune of $7k). I asked if he has anyone checking in on him from time to time and he says he has 2 great nieces who live about 2 hours away. I made sure to tell him that he needed to report the thefts to the local police. I want to be a friend and be there for my clients, and offered assistance, but I felt like that is all I could do, without seeming like I was a freak.

With Riverside County being back in the Purple Tier and numbers going back up, not only here, but throughout the rest of the Nation, I am just reminding everyone that I am still doing 1 on 1 at Home haircut services for my clients. Please know that I am practicing and following all rules and regulations of The State of California. While shop are open, I know some of you are just not comfortable going to a shop. I wanted to take a moment and discuss your morning routine, and how you present yourself to the world! To guys who think that you can just run your fingers through your hair and go, I would urge you to take a bit more time and pull yourself together. If you don’t use moisturizer, START! If a hairstylist gave you a kick ass haircut, style it the way you are supposed to. If you need to trim your beard, then do it. These things should be as common as brushing your teeth. Always, always, always, follow the directions of your stylist and skin professionals and I promise you, if you take a bit more time in the morning, it will make all the difference in the world. In my world, I do a few things to make me look a bit younger and a bit thinner (at least in my face) and I love to pass this information onto my clients. If you don’t believe me, take a look at my Before and after pics. I am not Beyoncé so I don’t just wake up looking good.. it takes some work. So take the time... because YOU are worth it
