August is Wellness Month, all month we will share resources for community health, wellness, safety, and belonging. In a crisis? Call 9-8-8. Connect with neighbors and the Palo Alto Police Department at National Night Out on August 6. Get involved through online surveys or an advisory group such as the University Avenue Streetscape stakeholder group and Downtown Housing Plan Community Advisory Committee. The Santa Clara County Fire Safe Council partnered with the City to clear vegetation in the foothills this month, check out hot August events and get moving with free Zumba and Tai Chi classes, and enjoy music throughout the Palo Alto.
