Some fresh news on the competitive state legislative elections happening in Virginia in just two weeks: Our friends at Fund Her, a California organization dedicated to bringing gender parity to state legislatures, are lending a hand in Virginia and have identified three toss up races to support with a slate on WomenCount. The slate includes a *new* candidate who has flown under our radar: Karen Jenkins (HD-89). This open seat swung heavily to Youngkin in 2021 but back to D+1 in last year’s midterms. You can read more about the other two candidates on their slate, Lily Franklin (HD-41) and Kimberly Adams (HD-82), in our message from a couple weeks ago. Help us raise some fast cash for Fund Her’s three endorsed Virginia candidates: Give $5 or more to their slate. https://womencount.org/teams/fund-her-virginia-legislature

2024 Senate: We haven’t added a Democratic woman to the Senate since 2018, and there are currently no Black women serving. Give now to help turn things around in 2024. https://womencount.org/teams/2024-senate/

2024 Senate
California was the first state to have two female Senators at the same time. After the next cycle, California could have none, and we could lose women in the Senate. We can’t let that happen—rush $5 or more to Katie Porter and our 2024 Senate slate now. https://womencount.org/teams/2024-senate/
