New Moon Concerts

It is a sad day for me and I am sure the fans of New Moon Concerts that attended his show. Saturday, while performing at the 30A Songwriters Festival, David Olney collapsed and later passed away. He was a legendary Singer Songwriter, and I will miss him. I will miss his weekly facebook show, and I will miss not having the opportunity to see him again. He and Sergio Webb put on a memorable show for us and I am fortunate that there are many photos and videos to remember him by. A toast to David.

Well, it has been a long time coming. I was finally able to get to and dismantle the New Moon stage. Sort of emotional, brought back a lot of memories. I looked at the before photos I took before I evacuated, and it hit hard. I had forgotten what it looked like before. Wish I still didn’t know.
A few people have told me they want New Moon to come back. Maybe one day we can make that happen. I have some wonderful friends that helped put the shows on. It was a lot of work but it was a lot of fun, great music, all that good stuff.
We have a long way to go…

Everybody remember to tune into Sirius/XM radio' Coffee House (channel 31)tomorrow at 12 noon eastern or 11am central to hear a full hour of Darden Smith, that will prime you for next Saturday's show at New Moon!!!! April 7th somewhere around 7:30pm.

I just heard this on the Sirius/XM radio... Darden Smith will be the featured artist on the hour long Thursday Coffee House Live show (channel 31). The show comes on at 12pm eastern or 11am central for the cool folks and replays at Midnight or 11pm central. We are fortunate to have Darden next Saturday, April 7th at New Moon. Y'all be sure to tune in... If you don't have sirius radio, oh well...
