Daily MomentuM:

Caring for yourself is not necessarily doing something you enjoy, something that gives you rest, or talking a vacation. Often, it can look like getting up early, putting the Lord first, spending time in His Word. It can look like eating healthy, exercising, and spending time with people who lift you up and who do not drag you down. Sometimes it is building that habit you don't want to build but your flesh is yelling in your mind to take the easy way. Sometimes, it is saying No to what is easy and Yes to what is hard. Doing the hard thing is often self-care when we are following Him. The easy way leads nowhere.

09/27/2023

Daily MomentuM:

The flesh becomes weaker or stronger depending on the choices you make - what you choose to put your hand to do, what you put in front of your eyes, what you listen to with your ears, and where your feet take you. Open no door and leave no opportunity for the flesh to gain influence and a foothold in your life. "I discipline my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize" (1 Corinthians 9:27). And indeed, living according to the flesh can disqualify us from the reward God has for us. It is far better to be in control of your body than for your body to be in control of you.

Daily MomentuM:

"If your life on earth were all there is, it might be reasonable to run from adversity and seek a life of pleasure. However, your earthly lifespan is minuscule, compared with the Glory that awaits you in heaven. A large part of learning to trust [God] is viewing your life through this big picture perspective" (S.Y.).

09/25/2023

Daily MomentuM:

Sometimes, you have to just trust your gut. Sometimes you know that you know.

09/24/2023

Daily MomentuM:

Father, it has to be your way and Your time, for if it is not, we shall not make it. Our own ways have proved to be bankrupt and insufficient. May we never think our own ways, instead of Yours, are sufficient for we will be walking in utter foolishness and will have wasted much time. If You say "be patient," we shall be patient. If you say, "go," we will go. May we listen to you and obey Your loving and wise guidance.

09/23/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"Therefore, everyone who Hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock" (Matthew 7:24).

Has God led or directed you to do something? Has He given you some instruction or some way to go? Are you listening to Him? It is the wise man who listens to what the Lord says and does it. The foolish man hears what the Lord says and ignores it. That is, does what he or she thinks is best instead of believing God's report.

09/21/2023

Momento diario:

09/20/2023

Daily MomentuM:

Experiencing a situation that is prolonged and you feel like will not end? Have you asked the Father many times and have received no apparent answer?

Remember:
"You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord, that the Lord is very pitiful and of tender mercy" (James 5:11).

Our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He will have mercy on you and your situation also. Be patient, stay in faith, and keep moving forward.

09/19/2023

Daily MomentuM:

The world is heavily pursuing power, identity, riches, and other vain pursuits, and it is peddle to the floor acceleration. I do not see in God's word, "Well done you who amassed riches in these last days and marginalized the poor" or, "Well done you who gained power to the detriment of others and caused many to suffer." What I see is "Well done, good and faithful servant." A servant does his or her Master's will. Let us focus more keenly on our Master's will in these last days. Wickedness will be judged, and righteousness will be rewarded . . . soon.

09/18/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap" (Ecclesiastes 11:4).

Make confident decisions and move quickly. Don't overthink your decisions. Don't be overly careful. Trust Him, take some risk, and move on the things God puts before you.

09/17/2023

Daily MomentuM:

Do not think there are no consequences for sin. "Sin . . . gives birth to death" (James 1:15) is an age-old and universal principle. Guard your heart and your life, and do not put your hand to sin, for when we put our hand to do something sinful, that is when it gets a foothold in our life. ". . . wickedness will not release those who practice it" (Ecclesiastes 8:8). Sin is presented to us smoothly and innocently, but the poison of vipers is there. Do not touch it, stay far from it. Sometimes, what seems to be an angel of light, in reality, is an angel of death.

09/16/2023

Daily MomentuM:

It will not come because you want it bad enough. It is connected with His timing. Do you have faith enough to wait on it? Do you not know that He will come through? Be patient. It will be alright.

09/15/2023

Daily MomentuM:

Getting upset, having an emotional outburst, taking things into your own hands, or other similar behaviors are not going to hurry up God's timing. It's best to just be patient and maintain faith in His promises as He periodically encourages us to do in His Word. Let's walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

09/10/2023

Daily MomentuM:

When choosing where you look with your eyes, what you put your hand to do, and what you choose to wear - in a world with such easy access to immorality on the Internet, in the street, the beach/pool, sometimes at work, and sometimes even next door, remember:

a. "Like a gold ring in a pigs snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion" (Proverbs 11:22).
b. "I will set before my eyes no vile thing" (Psalm 101:3).
c. "Flee from sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18).
d. "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived, . . . the sexually immoral . . . will inherit the Kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).

These are a few reminders so that, if tempted, you have ammunition to use, ". . . the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God" (Ephesians Ephesians 6:17).

09/07/2023

Daily MomentuM:

When you cling to old ways and old habits that had worked for you in the past when God is leading you to exchange them for new ones, and we do not listen, we find our forward movement stalls, we lack peace, and experience other negative consequences.
It's best to listen the first time for He leads us with purpose, purpose that will bring good to our lives, and to the lives of others.

"Now then, my children, listen to Me; blessed are those who keep my ways" (Proverbs 8:32).

09/06/2023

Daily MomentuM:

Stop feeling discouraged. This is not the end. Have we forgotten God has the power to do what He has said? Have we forgotten God is true and always faithful to His words? Have we forgotten He is the same now as yesterday? That He hears your prayers, and it is in His timing and not ours? God will do what is right. Everything is going to be ok. There is no need to worry.

"Why are you downcast, O my soul? . . . Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise Him" (Psalm 42:5).

09/03/2023

Daily MomentuM:

I find it interesting that every single individual on the face of the earth has been given the opportunity to be set free from their sins, to be brought back into a right relationship with God, and to have a home in heaven for eternity in a place of complete righteousness, joy, and peace. Yet so many are not in a relationship with God but are in a place of being his enemy and lost. Many have put their trust in Jesus Christ that he died, was buried, and rose again on the third day for their sins and for their justification. Others are enemies of the cross and love darkness rather than light.

Can you imagine giving that kind of gift to the world and then having the world reject it and reject you?

Daily MomentuM:

"Mary and Martha could not understand what their Lord was doing. Each of them had said to Him, 'Lord, if you had been here, my brother (Lazarus) would not have died' (21 and 32). . . . Moses could not understand why God required him to stay 40 years in the wilderness, but he also trusted Him. . . . Joseph could not understand his brothers cruelty, the false testimony of a treacherous woman, or the long years of unjust imprisonment, but he trusted God and finally he saw His glory in it all" (J.H.M.).

Dear friend, is there something in your life you do not understand? Are you at a loss to comprehend God's ways of dealing with you? Continue to trust Him, and one day, you, too, will see, and you will not be disappointed. We walk by faith and not by sight.

09/01/2023

Daily MomentuM:

Seek to please God above everything and everyone else today. Let this goal be your focus as you go throughout today.

08/31/2023

Daily MomentuM:

I came across a quote by Matthew Henry, which said, “And let us not forget, that He spake all the promises, and engaged to perform them.” When I read this, I thought of the promises of God to me. Think also of the promises of God to you. If you have been experiencing unsureness regarding His promises, let this quote remind you that it was He who spoke the promises in the first place and that all the difficulties, failures, and hardship going on in your life right now is part of Him engaging to accomplish their fulfillment. Continue to do what is right, stand firm in the faith, and be patient.

08/30/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind" (C.S.L.).

08/27/2023

Daily MomentuM:

". . . do not worry about your life . . . (Matthew 6:25). Our Lord pointed out from his standpoint it is absolutely unreasonable for us to be anxious, worrying about how we will live. Jesus did not say that the person who takes no thought for anything in his life will be blessed - no, that person is a fool. But Jesus did teach that his disciple must make his relationship with God the dominating focus of his life and to be cautiously carefree about everything else in comparison to that. . . . Jesus is saying that the greatest concern of life is to place our relationship with God first and everything else second" (O.C.).

08/26/2023

Daily MomentuM:

There was once a person named Christian who had real needs yet excessively focused on that need. The Lord had given Christian great promises, encouraged him to be patient, and let him know He will work it out in due time. Yet he often complained, talked of the injustice, and played the victim. Christian forgot the Lord had a purpose for the trials, which purpose was for his good.

Rise from you need O Christian. You have laid in it long enough. Get back your faith again. Get up and walk forward like a man. Trust in your Father, be patient, and do His will, looking to the hope and the joy that is set before you. He is your Father, and He will never abandon you, nor forsake you.

"Don't play the victim. Take it as a challenge" (R.C.).

08/25/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"Never be afraid to raise your voice for honesty and truth and compassion against injustice and lying and greed. If people all over the world . . . would do this, it would change the earth" (W.F.).

Remember, Darkness can not claim what you do not compromise and give it. The opposition of resisting temptation and evil is doing what it proposes. When you are beaten up, tired, and worn down, tempted to compromise, your other option is to be strong.

08/22/2023

Daily MomentuM:

Keep your plans tentative throughout your day because God's plans are far superior.

08/21/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"I cannot too greatly emphasize the importance and value of Bible study—more important than ever before in these days of uncertainties, when men and women are apt to decide questions from the standpoint of expediency rather than on the eternal principles laid down by God, Himself" (J.W.).

Hold on to what is true, what is right, and what is good. In our day, relativism and deceit abound. The word of God is the source of truth we can anchor to that the winds and the waves will not toss our boat upon the rocks.

08/19/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"Remember that you have been saved so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in your body (2 Corinthians 4:10). Direct the total energy of your powers so that you may achieve everything your election as a child of God provides; rise every time to whatever occasion may come your way. . . . 1 Peter 4:12 says, 'beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you as though some strange thing happened to you . . . ,' Rise to the occasion - do what the trial demands of you. . . . May God not find complaints in us anymore, buy spiritual vitality - a readiness to face anything He brings our way.. . . We are here to submit to His will so that He may work through us what He wants" (O.C.).

That is, the life of Christ within us.

04/01/2023

Daily MomentuM:

In our day when evil men and women are going from bad to worse, and where "mockers, walking after their own ungodly lusts" Jude 18) abound. When you see those who are, "lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive . . . ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving" (2 Timothy 3:2-3) and the like.
When surrounded with the worst of it, remember the direction, the tools, and the great hope He has given you. Remember that our Lord Jesus Christ came not to destroy lives but to save them. "But you dear friend, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you eternal life" (Joel 20-21) in these last days, for this Hope is coming.

03/03/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"You haven’t lost anything when you know where it is. Death can hide but not divide" (V.H.).

02/24/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"Spend your time in nothing which you know must be repented of;
in nothing on which you might not pray for the blessing of God;
in nothing which you could not review with a quiet conscience on your dying bed;
in nothing which you might not safely and properly be found doing if death should surprise you in the act" (R.B.).

02/21/2023

Daily MomentuM:

The truth is contrary to often repeated and popular notions of our day.

02/12/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we progress for He who promised is faithful" (Hebrews 12:23).

Times come in life that are hard, confusing and sometimes prolonged and we wonder what is going on. Perhaps we have a promise that has not been fulfilled yet and we are starting to lose heart and considering going our own way. . . . If you will just trust Him, you'll see.

"So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded" (Hebrews 10:35).

01/25/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"The faith that saves is the total response of the whole self to the will of God. It is the response of the mind in belief, the heart in trust, the will in conduct. It is to accept the fact that God goes all out for us, and then to be willing to go all out for God" (J.R.)

01/24/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"May my lips overflow with your praise . . . May my tongue sing of your Word" (Psalms 119:171 & 172).

Don't be afraid to talk about your faith with others (and minimize words without faith). Go ahead, don't be scared.

01/24/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy" (Psalms 126:5).

Sometimes we wonder why life is going as it is still when we have prayed for help many times about something. Once, the Lord impressed on me, "Trust Me" in a time such as this. Trust Him that He is not doing what you might be asking right now. He has a good reason. Let go, stop fighting it, and rest in Him. From this vantage point, keep moving forward. (And remember the above verse.)

01/17/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"Only be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live" (Deuteronomy 4:9).

When the Lord impresses something on your heart, teaches you something, or leads you in some way, hold onto that and do not allow it to slip from your mind. Consider writing them down and backing them up and reviewing them periodically so as to hold on to those things tightly. I do because those things are far more valuable than gold.

"Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life" (Proverbs 4:13).

01/14/2023

Daily MomentuM:

"Trust Me" (God).

Have you ever thought that you can trust Him in the situation, that He knows what He is doing, and maybe He isn't taking it away for a reason? Perhaps He has a higher and a greater purpose and something good for you in the future.

01/11/2023

Daily MomentuM:

". . . He rewards those who earnestly seek Him" (Hebrews 11:6b).

God is one who rewards for what we do. When we put the energy of our hearts and minds towards His things, to accomplish His will, and, in this passage, towards earnestly seeking Him, He rewards us. The Greek words behind this means to diligently seek after Him with an earnest desire to find Him and to obtain his favor. It is like seeking diligently as we do for something valuable that is lost. It is searching intently and carefully in order to find or to know. Seeking him like this is driven from the heart and connected with faith. You have to want it and go after it earnestly and you will surely then see what happens. Don't allow yourself to become complacent and stale.

"But if from there you seek the Lord your God, you will find Him if you look for Him with all your heart and with all your soul" (Deuteronomy 4:29).

01/10/2023

Daily MomentuM:

I do not think many Christians truly believe they will stand before the Lord and give an account of their lives, for if they did, they would live very different lives than what they do now.

"So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God" (Romans 14:12).

01/08/2023

Daily MomentuM:

Let the past go. Don't dwell on those negative things. There is no need. Look forward.
